Azuron and the Department of Lands of NSW have won the NSW Premier’s Gold Award delivered by the NSW Premier’s Nathan Rees, in the category – Delivering the plan – Business, for the delivery of SIX, the Spatial Information eXchange.   This achievement has recognized the importance and quality of the work that has been performed to deliver the Spatial Information eXchange to the New South Wales Government.

Azuron has been engaged in this program for the last 3 years,  helping the NSW government to define an ICT strategy that will serve the business vision, through to the actual deployment, implementation and delivery of the software,  hardware infrastructure supporting the SIX initiative.

SIX is the official source of NSW’s geospatial information, possessing the most comprehensive accurate and reliable spatial data for the State.  SIX a cross-government shared GIS and business services initiative that enables specific solutions to be designed and developed on a common platform  across agencies
